Community Edition legal notice

The public CertiStack Community Edition is governed by the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPLv3). That license is the authoritative statement of permitted use; see the licensing FAQ for commercial-use questions and non-AGPL commercial terms.

Diagnostic scope

CertiStack is a diagnostic recovery-testing tool. A result documents a specific test execution; it is not a guarantee of recovery, insurance, regulatory certification, or an independent audit opinion. Operators remain responsible for backup, recovery, security, and compliance.

Commercial product

CertiStack Enterprise Edition is a separate commercial distribution. The Homelab+, Team, and MSP Fleet subscriptions are Enterprise Edition entitlements and can be purchased online; payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages, and a signed license file is emailed to the address given at checkout once payment succeeds. Enterprise Scale deployments, and capacity beyond a published subscription tier, are supplied only through a written agreement from Clift Cloud LLC. Every Enterprise Edition purchase, including Enterprise Scale, is governed by the commercial license agreement.

Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

A license is valid through the end of the period paid for. Each renewal issues a fresh license carrying the new expiry. Cancelling stops future renewals; the license already issued continues to function until the paid period ends, and is not revoked early.

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and are not refunded for the remainder of the current month. Annual subscriptions may be refunded in full within fourteen days of the initial purchase; after that the term is not refundable, and access continues through the paid period. Contact licensing@certistack.dev for cancellations, refunds, or a reissued license.

Privacy

This site serves static content and sets no cookies. It does not itself receive or store payment details: checkout takes place on Stripe's hosted pages, and Stripe acts as the payment processor for card data and billing records. Postmark delivers the license email on our behalf and therefore processes the recipient address. If you contact Clift Cloud LLC directly, the information in that message is handled by the communication provider and for the purpose described in your message. The Enterprise Edition software sends nothing to Clift Cloud unless you turn on license check-in or usage reporting; what each sends, and how long it is kept, is set out in the commercial license agreement (Section 13).

Security

Please report potential vulnerabilities using the project's security policy. Do not publish secrets, customer reports, private keys, or proof-of-concept exploit details in a public issue.
